Dr. Bailey Robinet was raised in Amherstburg, Ontario. Dr. Robinet has aspired to be an
optometrist since she was in grade 7. She is very excited to be back in Essex County providing eye care to our community.
She attended The University of Windsor where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology with Distinction. She went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at The University of Waterloo and was on The Dean’s List. At graduation she was awarded the A.W Cole Award for Clinical Excellence and The Dr. Karen Tompa Nowy Memorial Award, in recognition of the exceptional care and concern she showed for her patients’ health and well-being. During her final year of the optometry program, Bailey completed her clinical externships in Salmon Arm, BC and Meadow Lake, SK. After memorable experiences at both of her placements, she decided to return to Meadow Lake to start the first year of her career.
In Northern Saskatchewan Dr. Robinet provided full scope optometry. She is passionate about primary care, rural optometry and ocular disease. She has a special interest in diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, cataracts, dry eye, glaucoma and post-operative care. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and is motivated to continue to learn and grow as the amazing field of optometry advances. Outside of the clinic you can find Bailey hiking, bird watching, traveling and spending time with her husband, friends and family.
